WHY MUSIC

22 Dec

If music be the food of life……..

What would you add to that sentence?

I would add, then there will be no more wars. As a strong music student and devoted believer of all things music, I truly believe that if more time was spent on doing some thing more creative instead of wrecking lives this world would be a better place.

I may just be living in my own fantasy world, but at least I am not hurting anybody. Music is now becoming a very crucial part of our daily existence, with more people realising the importance of music, whether listening to music for pleasure, using music as a source of inspiration to create something, music for excercise, music for adverts, music for therapy, music for social gathering and many more. The power and the use of music has greatly increased over the years, ‘Music fuels the mind and thus fuels our creativity. A Creative mind has the ability to make discoveries and create innovations. The greatest minds and thinkers like Albert Einstein, Mozart, and Frank Lloyd Wright all had something in common in that they were constantly exploring their imagination and creativity.Music can be very engaging in the classroom and is a great tool for memorization. I’m sure if more teachers used  song to teach the multiplication tables, kids would retain that information much quicker’.http://www.pianoaround.com/the-importance-of-music-in-your-life/.
